Accessing NotebookLM

Getting set up takes less than a minute. Follow these steps to begin:

Sign In: Go to notebooklm.google and sign in with your Google account.

Create a Notebook: Click the "plus (+)" icon or "Create new notebook" on your dashboard. Give it a clear name (e.g., "Biology Unit 1" or "District AI Policy").

Add Your Sources: A pop-up will ask you to upload sources. You can choose:

• Google Drive: Select Docs, Sheets, or Slides.

• Upload Files: PDFs, text files, or even audio/video files (MP4, MP3).

• Websites: Paste a URL to pull in an article or educational site.

Review the Guide: Once uploaded, NotebookLM automatically generates a Notebook Guide. This gives you an instant summary, key topics, and suggested questions to help you start the "conversation."

Quick Start Challenge: The Shakespeare Notebook
