The Department of Student Services offer a variety of intervention supports for SISD students and their families.

The Department is responsible for District Attendance, Social Services, McKinney-Vento Homeless and Foster Care, Counseling and Support Services, School Safety that includes Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS), Bully Intervention, Whole Child Services, Mental Health, RTI, Health Services, Highly Mobile Populations, Restorative Practices, Transportation, Dropout Prevention, Campus Support, Mentors, Community & Family Engagement, and the character education program Matador Challenge.
