Cinde Thomas-Jimenez is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters of Applied Geography. She is a certified teacher and taught in Seguin ISD for 10 years. She has also taught classes at various universities in the region and has been working in the field of Environmental Education since 1991. She currently works for the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority as the Environmental Education Administrator. Mrs. Thomas-Jimenez is a current Board Member of the Guadalupe Chapter of the Master Naturalists. She is married to Fred Jimenez and they have two grown children, both products of Seguin ISD and proud graduates of Seguin HS. The Jimenez family attends St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

Mr. Jenkins is a native of Boling, Texas and a graduate of Boling High School. After training as an Emergency Medical Technician, he became a registered nurse at the Baptist Health System School of Professional Nursing. Currently he is an employee of Resolute Health in New Braunfels in the Emergency Department. Mr. Jenkins is an active member of New Braunfels Church of Christ, where he heads the Missions Committee. He has traveled extensively doing mission work, spreading the Gospel of Christ. He is a member of the Guadalupe Masonic Lodge 109, where he served as Lodge master in 2015. He is also a member of The Shriners. In his free time, Mr. Jenkins enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family.
Carl met his wife Marylin Cooper-Jenkins in Seguin, where she has had her dental practice for the past 21 years. His sons Colton and Carson are Seguin High School graduates.

Glenda is a native of San Diego, Texas and a graduate of San
Diego High School. She attended Southwest Texas State
University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Home
Economics and Master of Educational Administration.
She is a certified teacher and worked in Seguin ISD for 35 years,
serving for 20 years as a teacher and 15 years as principal of A.
J. Briesemeister Middle School. Mrs. Moreno retired from
Seguin ISD in 2008 and started her career as Director of
Religious Education at Our Lady of Guadalupe (OLG) Catholic
Church and retired from that position in 2018. She currently
volunteers her time as secretary of the Seguin Sports Boosters
Club and member of the Texas Lutheran University Community
Advisory Committee and OLG Scholarship Committee. She is
married to Gilbert D. Moreno and they are the parents of three
grown sons who are proud graduates of Seguin ISD. Four of her
six grandchildren attend Seguin ISD schools. She and Gilbert
are members of OLG.

Alejandro Rios Guerra graduated from Edcouch-Elsa High School in Elsa, Texas and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Lutheran College. He is employed as a Senior Chemist for Infineon Semiconductor in Austin and is married to TLC alumnus Yolanda M. Guerra. They are proud parents of Seguin High School graduates Liliana Rosa Guerra and Alejandro Luis Guerra. Alejandro has served an active role in the following boards and community organizations: 2004 Middle Schools Attendance Zone, 2006 Facilities Committee, 2009-2010 Elementary Zone Committee, 2010 SISD Visioning Committee, 2010-2011 Bond Committee, 2013 Bond Advisory Board Committee, City of Seguin Zoning Board of Adjustments (chairperson), Austin Community College & Advanced Micro Devices Committee, Seguin Education Foundation founding Board Member, former Teatro De Artes de Juan Seguin Board President, charter member and past Grand Knight of Archbishop Patricio Flores Knights of Columbus Council 16748 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, current member of Seguin LULAC Council 682 and member of TLU Mexican American Alumni & Friends Association.

Linda Duncan is a lifelong resident of Guadalupe County, a Seguin High School alumnus and a
graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Administration.
She is an on-air personality and oversees programming at Seguin’s KWED AM and also does
voiceover with the Boysen Talent Agency of San Antonio. Ms. Duncan is a founding member,
past president and current board member of the Seguin Education Foundation. She is a former
president and member of the Zonta Club of Seguin, a member of First Baptist Church, and has
performed in numerous community theater productions. She enjoys volunteering as an
appraiser for Destination Imagination regional and state tournaments, spending time with
family and friends and adventures with her fun-loving and talented Havanese dogs, Dexter and

Denise grew up in Seguin, graduated from Seguin High School and then earned bachelor of arts degrees in Communication and English from Trinity University in San Antonio and an Master of Arts in Film and Television Studies from Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland. She and her husband Leigh lived in cities around the world before deciding to make a home in Seguin. They have two daughters who attend Seguin ISD schools. Denise has served the Girl Scouts for 17 years, is the president of the Weinert and Barnes PTCs and vice president of Seguin PTC and has served on various district committees including the Campus Improvement Committee at Weinert, the Bond Advisory Committee, Facilities Committee, and the GT Task Force. In her spare time she coaches two Destination Imagination teams. She enjoys traveling and performing community theatre with her family, and volunteers with her church (Spirit of Joy Lutheran), youth, local history, and the arts whenever she can. Denise works as a producer and script supervisor for film, television and social media.

Ben Amador is a 1969 graduate of Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) where he earned a degree in Economics. He grew up attending Seguin schools. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force he received special training and became a combination Radar Operator and Radar Maintenance Technician during the Vietnam War. Mr. Amador retired after working 30 years as a Benefits Investigator for the United States Department of Labor. After returning to Seguin he became an active property manager. Now semi-retired, he still owns and manages several rental properties in Seguin. He is active in the community and stays abreast of local issues, especially those dealing with the youth of this community.
