Mission Statement

The Seguin High School athletic training staff is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all student athletes participating in athletics. Athletic trainers are healthcare professionals who provide patient centered care and utilize the best evidence available in prevention, recognition, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical conditions and injuries. The athletic training staff is determined to reduce the risk of injury by promoting overall health and wellness to our student athletes by working collaboratively with other medical professionals and coaches. Athletic trainers will strive to adhere to the NATA code of ethics to allow a patient a safe return to activity. Additionally, our secondary mission is to educate and help develop student athletic training aides into productive members of health related professions and society.

To enable all individuals a safe return to activity using patient centered care, the best evidence available and informatics to promote quality improvement and reduce injury risks.
