Community Invited to Seguin ISD Transportation Facility Ribbon Cutting
11/21/2025
The Bond 2022 Transportation Facility work is complete, and Seguin ISD is ready to celebrate the expansion.

Dr. Jack Lee, superintendent, and district leadership are excited to join the community for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility at 1005 E. Seidemann St. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at approximately 9:30 A.M.

Under the money designated in Bond 2022, voters approved expanding the space where the district houses, cleans, and services its 89 buses for daily use. This expansion, which includes a new repair bay, a larger employee break room, and a new space for transportation dispatch services, will ensure smoother operations and better service for Seguin ISD students.

The expansion of the Transportation Facility is one of several significant projects designated under the 2022 bond, including the renovation and expansion of Barnes Middle School, which held its ribbon cutting earlier this week. Work continues on the Agricultural Science facility and the new McQueeney Elementary School; both are scheduled to open in 2026.
