Seguin ISD will celebrate the culmination of new construction and renovation work at Barnes Middle School with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

District voters supported the new construction and renovations at the Barnes Middle School campus through the passage of Bond 2022. Since the bond’s approval, construction crews have made additions to a classroom wing, the cafeteria, the fine arts space, the parking lot, and the library.

The public is invited to the ribbon cutting on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Barnes Middle School cafetorium. The ceremony will start at approximately 9 A.M.
