During the June 15 school board meeting, trustees unanimously approved Dr. Gutierrez's recommendation for a 2021-22 staff salary increase. Those on the teacher pay scale will receive a 3% increase (based upon the prior year bachelor table amount) while all other employees will receive a 2.5% increase of the pay table midpoint.

The new starting teacher salary increased to $51,500.
