Four Seguin High School choirs participated in the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation in San Antonio on April 15-17. The Non-Varsity Treble Choir and the Varsity Tenor Bass Choir each received a First Division plaque in Concert while the Varsity Mixed Choir and the Varsity Treble Choir each earned a First Division in both Concert and Sightreading and were awarded Sweepstakes trophies.

This marks the first time in more than 15 years that two choirs from Seguin High School earned Sweepstakes trophies at UIL. Leonardo Garcia serves as Seguin High School choir director.
