The Seguin
Independent School District, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is
offering the Summer Food Service Program at six locations.
The program, operational Mondays through Thursdays, provides meals free of charge to children
from ages 1 to 18. Adults interested in participating will be charged $2.25 for breakfast and
$3.60 for lunch.
From June 5-29, Koennecke Elementary will serve breakfast from 7:45-8:30 a.m. and lunch from
11:15 a.m.-noon. Breakfast will be served at Barnes Middle School from 7:45-8:30 a.m. with
lunch served from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Briesemeister Middle School will offer breakfast from
7:30-8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:15 a.m.-1 p.m.
Breakfast will be served at Goldie Harris Gym June 12-July 27 from 7-7:30 a.m. while snacks
will be available from 11-11:30 a.m.
Mercer Blumberg Learning Center offers breakfast from 10-10:30 a.m. on July 24-Aug. 16.
From Aug. 14-25, there will be breakfast at Seguin High School 7-7:30 a.m. and lunch from
12:30-1:15 p.m.
Additionally, lunch will be served at Park West June 5-July 27 from 12:30-1 p.m. Teatro de
Artes de Juan Seguin has breakfast from 7:45-8 a.m. and lunch 11:45 a.m. to noon, June 12-22.
