Seguin Independent School District offers students extraordinary summer learning opportunities that range from the quiet mental demands of chess to the festive music and dance of ballet folklorico to the rugged, adventurous experiences of mountain biking or kayaking.The 2017 camp offerings included something for everyone, including:

• 3D Design and Printing--using computers to create original prototypes and print them on actual 3D printers.
• Adventure School at HEB--head to Leakey, TX to experience the outdoors in exiting ways.
• Archery--learn to shoot a compound bow like an expert.
• Art Camp: Paper Craftmania--create beautiful works of art using a variety of papers and techniques.
• Ballet Folklorico--dance the traditional Mexican dance in colorful costumes.
• Chess Champions--start to journey to grand master status in this fun and challenging camp.
• Cracking the Code--learn basic computer programming skills and how to think like a computer scientist.
• CSI: Crime Scene Investigations--apply science and investigative skills as you learn actual forensic techniques.
• Endangered Animal Art--create works of art depicting some very important and threatened species of animals.
• Force X Mass = Fun!--physical science comes to life using Hot Wheels cars, hand made gliders, and rockets.
• Garden Camp--learn about growing fruits and vegetables and how to live and eat healthy.
• Maker Camp--make, invent, create are the name of the game for this hands-on camp.
• Mariachi Project--beginners or advanced musicians join together to make beautiful, traditional music.
• Matador Adventurers--do a little of everything--hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, all in one awesome camp.
• Paddle Seguin--learn to kayak and take it to area rivers and streams.
• Pedal Seguin--hit the trail at area parks on actual mountain bikes.
