Set Your Alarms to Wake Up!

Wake Up! You won’t want to miss the world premiere of the student film, Wake Up. The Red Carpet Event will have the doors opening this Friday, June 1, at 6:45pm at the Seguin High School Performing Arts Center and it is open to the public. Come “dressed to impress” to get your photos taken on the red carpet and be there to view the first film from Casa Delta Productions. This sci-fi thriller is student written and produced and is the first film to come from the film class on campus and Casa Delta Productions.

Meet and greet time with the cast and crew as well as a Q&A session about the movie will showcase the talents that came together to make this a grand event. In addition to the screening, Chris Elley, Seguin High School Class of 1996, will be sharing his experiences as a filmmaker on the rise. We will round out the evening with a behind the scenes montage.

"To see this process evolve and the students growing with it has been phenomenal. It has been a great opportunity for these students to get a taste of what it takes to pull together a movie from start to finish. I can't wait to see where the program goes from here," film instructor Jeff McCrary said.

Set your alarms and don’t forget to Wake Up! and join us for this must attend Red Carpet Event.
